I'd like to tell you the story of my Chairity chair that keeps on giving . Every year and I paint a Muskoka chair which is then auctioned off at the Sudbury and Manitoulin's children foundation and the are used to send a kid to camp. Well usually I just paint the chair , they come and pick it up and I never hear any more about it. The funny thing is while I was at the dentist's office for my regular teeth cleaning the dental hygenist Tracey asked me . "Hey Carmen did you paint a chair for an auction? " I said yes I did. She said knew the man who purchased it. He then donated it for a raffle which genrated another $444 for charity it for a silent auction for another fund raiser . The man was so glad to get it out of his garage. Funny thing is the same man who gave it away won it back so now it is back in the garage with his truck for the winter, He plans to donate it again for another great cause. This is why y I now call it the chair that keeps on giving. Let's see how much more charity $$$$ we can get for it. I will be painting another one this year for the auction.
